Medical services
At the telemedicine establishment “Consultório de Psiquiatria - Prof. Dr. Licínia Ganança” (ERS nº 45055), psychiatric consultations are conducted online through video calls. During the initial consultation, a detailed clinical assessment is performed, which may include requesting complementary diagnostic tests to determine the presence of mental health issues and possible psychiatric disorders, as well as to design a treatment and follow-up plan. Subsequent reassessment consultations consist of regular evaluations to monitor the patient’s progress and adjust treatment.
Important: These consultations are not suitable for medical emergencies, situations representing imminent life risk, or cases requiring physical examination and in-person contact with the healthcare professional.
Appointment Scheduling and Payment
The link for scheduling appointments, as well as the available payment methods, are provided on this website. When booking, you must provide all the requested information on the site with accurate and complete data. Payment is required at the time of scheduling and can be made via MbWay, Multibanco reference, or credit card, using the PayPay or Buk/ Stripe platforms. The appointment is only confirmed upon receipt of payment, at which time a confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided by you (please check your spam folder). If payment is not made within the specified deadline, the booking will be automatically canceled. The invoice will be sent to your email. You are fully responsible for the information included on the invoice, so please provide all the details you want to appear on it. Once issued, the invoice cannot be reissued with modifications. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, limit, or suspend bookings, at our sole discretion, in cases of abusive or inappropriate use of our services.
Access to video consultation
The access link for the consultation is sent to the email provided by the patient through iMED (the platform where the consultation takes place) at the time the consultation is scheduled to begin. As soon as you receive the email, you can immediately access the link to start the video consultation (please check your spam folder). It is not necessary to install any software on your smartphone, tablet, or computer to conduct the consultation; simply access the link sent. The user is responsible for ensuring the technical conditions required to access the services offered, including the equipment and internet service, which are essential for the proper functioning of the platform used for the online consultation.Cancellations, rescheduling, and no-shows for appointments.
Appointments can be canceled with the right to a refund or, alternatively, rescheduled at no cost if these changes are made at least 24 hours before the appointment. For changes made less than 24 hours in advance, the full appointment fee will be charged, with no refund.
Instructions for refund requests will be provided in the appointment confirmation email. Refunds are processed within an estimated timeframe of one week.
In case of no-show for the appointment, the full amount will be charged, and no refund will be granted.
If the appointment must be canceled due to force majeure on our side (such as illness or the need to provide family assistance), you will be informed as early as possible. In such cases, you may choose to reschedule or cancel the appointment (with the right to a full refund if you choose cancellation).
Prescriptions and issuance of documents
Medication prescriptions will be sent by email, and will also be available at the SNS24 app. Prescriptions for complementary diagnostic exams, attendance certificates, clinical reports, medical certificates, or Temporary Work Incapacity Certificates will be sent by email. It is important to emphasize that all the acts described correspond to medical acts and, as such, always require medical evaluation for their completion, always based on clinical criteria defined by the doctor, and their issuance is not guaranteed if these criteria are not met. The issuance of some of these documents, such as clinical reports, may involve associated additional costs.
